Elawan Energy S.L. (“Elawan”), a subsidiary of the ORIX Group, today announced the signing of a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Cellnex, which includes the supply of renewable energy from a wind project and three solar projects, with a total capacity of 200 MW. This agreement represents a key strategic advancement for Elawan in the renewable energy sector.
The projects will provide Cellnex with over 400,000 MWh of renewable energy per year, certifying that the electricity consumed is from renewable sources, thus supporting the energy transition and carbon emissions reduction.
Through this PPA with Cellnex, Europe’s largest operator of telecommunications towers and infrastructure, Elawan Energy will guarantee stable prices for all energy produced by the projects.
